Über die Veranstaltung
Join Carola Murray-Seegert for a hike through Oberursel’s Heidetränk-Oppidum, a walled town und trading centre built by Celtic tribespeople more than 2000 years ago. Along the trail you’ll learn about life in the Iron Age, the local thirst for Roman wine and the ways archaeologists uncover our past. Distance takes 4,5 km with some up-hill-stretches for 2,5 hours. Start: 2 o’clock p.m. at the entrance of the Taunus-Informations-Zentrum Hohemark; costs 7 Euro.
